I bought this condo because of the view. Not the ocean (though that's a three-minute drive). The view from the lanai — the 9th hole green at Kiahuna Golf Club, the fairway stretching out toward the clubhouse, and the south shore sunsets that light up the sky most evenings. I saw it and knew this was the spot.

I built this site because I wanted golfers to have the resource I wish existed when I was planning my first Kauai trip. Which courses are worth the money? Which ones are overrated? Where should you stay to be close to the best golf? What should you eat after your round? I couldn't find honest, detailed answers to any of those questions, so I wrote them myself.

Every course review on this site comes from personal experience. I've played all the courses on the island multiple times. The ratings are mine, the opinions are mine, and the biases are clearly stated. Poipu Bay is my favorite. Kiahuna is my backyard. And I think Wailua at $48 is one of the best deals in all of Hawaii golf.
